Organization administrators and instructors are required to enable two-factor authentication (MFA), and any learner can enable it from Profile → Security using either an authenticator app or a WebAuthn Passkey.
1
Open Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, or any TOTP app on your phone and scan the QR code shown on screen (or copy the manual setup key).
2
Alternatively, register a Passkey (Windows Hello, Touch ID, Face ID, or a hardware security key) from Profile → Security for one-tap biometric verification.
3
Enter the 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app into Verification code and choose Enable MFA.
4
Copy or download the 10 single-use recovery codes displayed on the next screen and store them in a safe place before choosing Continue.
Tip: Store your 10 single-use recovery codes in a password manager before continuing. You can also enroll a WebAuthn Passkey as a phishing-resistant second factor.
